The South Carolina Association of Governmental Purchasing Official’s (SCAGPO) Annual Professional Development Forum and Trade Show will be held November 9-11, 2022, At Myrtle Beach’s Marriott Resort and Spa at The Grand Dunes.

With your support, the last few years have been more successful than we could have imagined as we worked to navigate the pandemic.  We look forward to your participation again this year as we get back to business as usual.  For those of you who were unable to attend last year, we want to extend a special invitation for you to join your peers in showcasing your company’s products or services while meeting procurement professionals representing state government, school districts, city and county governments, and municipalities from around the state. This event will offer you a great opportunity for networking with these professionals.

Booth rentals remain the same at $700.00 per booth and includes 2 registrations. Early registration is $600.00.

You are invited to participate in all of our work sessions.  additionally, The following are events that may be of most interest to you:

• November 8: Sam Hanvey Golf Tournament
• November 8: Bowling Social
• November 9: Vendor Registration and Set Up - 11:00AM - 1:00 PM
• November 9: Trade Show - 1:30 - 5:30 PM
• November 9: Networking Events - 6:30 - 11:00 PM
• November 10: Trade Show -  9:30 - 11:00 AM
• November 10: Networking Luncheon - 11:30 AM - 12:50 PM

SCAGPO partnerships are remain as they were previously.  The levels remain $1500.00 - $5,000.00 as follows:

• Platinum - $5,000.00
• Gold - $3,500.00
• Silver $2, 500.00
• Bronze $1,500.00

There are also special opportunities to partner for the event.  In addition to the price to purchase registration, there are two opportunities to sponsor name badges ($500.00 each) which will include the sponsor logo on member and vendor name badges.  There are also four opportunities to sponsor our virtual platform ($1,000.00 each) which includes advertising within the app and on the facilitator's powerpoint slides.

Regarding the bowling and golf pre-forum events, the Forum Committee are bringing those events back and look forward to networking with you on Tuesday. 

Vendors are also encouraged to participate in our annual silent auction, hosted by the certification committee.  Proceeds from the auction are used to provide scholarships to members in pursuit of procurement certifications.  You may participate either by donating an item to the auction or by bidding on items at the forum.

 Finally, we ask that you adhere to our deadlines as follows:

• Early Registration - August 15, 2022: The ($700.00) registration fee is discounted to $600.00 until this date.  All payments received after 5:00 pm on August 15, 2022, will not receive the $100.00 discount.
• Late Registration - October 1, 2022: The registration fee is substantially greater after this date. Please make sure your registrations and payments are received to avoid paying more.
• Registration Closes - November 1, 2022: We will not make any exceptions to this registration closing.  Any changes made to your registration after this date will incur a $10.00 fee for processing of a new name badge and tickets. Again, NO EXCEPTIONS!
